2025 operational update

Strategic focus and operational turnaround

In 2025, the business narrowed its focus around cybersecurity GRC (governance, risk, and compliance). The approach emphasized discipline—saying no to non-core initiatives—in order to concentrate resources on areas where Acuity can win.

The year also included cost cutting, organizational streamlining, and talent upgrades, including the addition of a new Finance Director and access to fractional expertise in artificial intelligence to support the next era of software development.

A performance-based culture became a growing focus, with goals centered on shareholder returns and sustained execution.

Sales & marketing (2025 progress + 2026 foundations)

  • Technical website improvements in Q3 and Q4 laid the foundation for 'AI engine optimization'—making it easier for large language models (LLMs) to index the site and surface Acuity in relevant searches.
  • A US-led SDR (sales development representative) team was launched recently, with expectations of a steadier flow of leads beginning in Q1 2026.
  • LinkedIn activity increased engagement year-over-year and began establishing a stronger authority presence.
  • Vendor Management Hub is live on the AWS Marketplace, with AWS credits available to help optimize the listing.
  • A 2026 marketing plan is being finalized, including conference participation and tighter focus on the highest-impact activities.
  • Product ease-of-use and faster activation are key priorities—helping customers see value quickly with less manual onboarding, lowering costs to serve, and enabling alliance partners to onboard customers more independently.

Product roadmap discussed in the presentation

Classic STREAM®

A tried-and-tested system with strong public sector adoption and sticky usage, particularly connected to defense requirements. It is highly configurable and works well where customers have specific, structured processes.

Vendor Management Hub

A simple, easy-to-explain tool focused on third-party risk management. It helps organizations move from spreadsheets to an organized way of sending and managing supplier questionnaires, prioritizing critical suppliers, and focusing on the biggest risks.

STREAM® Cloud

Launching imminently. A cloud-enabled evolution designed to provide easier access, simpler updates, improved ease of use, and stronger potential for integrations—intended to appeal more directly to commercial customers in regulated industries.

AI-native product (in development)

A new product being shaped through customer discovery to serve the midmarket without the complexity of heavyweight GRC tools. The goal is evidence-backed maturity scoring, AI-enabled guidance, and prioritized actions—plus board-ready reporting on what changed, what decisions are pending, and the most important items to focus on.
