Acuity Risk Management, creator of the award-winning STREAM cyber risk management platform, has been recognised in Gartner’s August 2018 report, ‘Critical Capabilities for IT Risk Management Solutions’.
Security and risk management leaders are experiencing increased demand for ITRM solutions originating from cybersecurity initiatives, board risk oversight and digital compliance obligations. Commenting on the market, Gartner’s strategic planning assumption is that, “through 2025 60% of global ITRM buyers will depend on risk management solutions to aggregate digital risks in their business’s ecosystem, up from 10% in 2018”.
“We believe that our recognition in this Gartner report reflects our ability to provide our customers with exceptional business-oriented visibility of their cyber risk status”, says Simon Marvell, Partner and Founder of Acuity Risk Management. “Our STREAM cyber risk management platform supports Enterprise-wide quantitative and qualitative risk assessment integrated with: threat and vulnerability management; incident and event management; and, action management, enabling business risk-based decision making”.
According to Gartner analysts Khushbu Pratap and Matthew T. Stamper, authors of the report, “Global regulatory compliance requirements require evidence of a risk oversight practice. Fifty-eight percent of ITRM implementations were made with an intention to “bring transparency in risk-based decision making”. Cybersecurity risk management (for cybersecurity tracking and reporting) is in high demand, but buyers are still formalizing requirement specifications”.
